AWS Cloud Computing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud computing platform that provides a range of services for building and running applications and websites. These services are provided over the internet and are delivered on demand, allowing you to pay only for the resources that you use.

AWS offers a wide range of services, including:

  • Compute: Services for running applications, including Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) for hosting applications, and AWS Lambda for running code in response to events.

  • Storage: Services for storing data, including Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) for object storage and Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) for block storage.

  • Database: Services for storing and managing data, including Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for relational databases and Amazon DynamoDB for non-relational databases.

  • Networking: Services for connecting resources, including Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) for creating a logically isolated section of the AWS cloud and Amazon Route 53 for routing traffic.

  • Security: Services for securing resources, including AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for controlling access to AWS resources and Amazon GuardDuty for threat detection.

Management: Services for managing resources, including AWS CloudFormation for creating and managing resources in a predictable and automated way and AWS Systems Manager for managing resources at scale.

AWS allows you to build, deploy, and scale applications and websites quickly and easily, without the need to maintain physical infrastructure. This allows you to focus on developing and improving your applications, rather than managing servers and infrastructure.
